The Clarke Museum is a regional history museum focusing on the local Native American. It possesses a vast array of basketry regalia. Located in Eureka at E and 3rd Streets, the Museum changes featured exhibits several times a year.

The Humboldt Bay Maritime Museum, located at 1410 Second Street, features the extensive maritime legacy of the bay.
Fort Humboldt State Historic Park and Logging Museum is located at 3431 Fort Avenue. Ulysses S. Grant was stationed here prior to the Civil War. Some of the structures have been recreated. A logging interpretive center has been added as well.
The Discovery Museum is a newly-formed, nomadic museum which combines education and fun for children and young teens. Three areas of emphasis are science, art and technology. Currently located in Eureka’s Old Town District, corner of F & 3rd Streets.
